Ask a question and get an answer from somebody who's done it. And everything shared here stays here. No vendor is going to take it. No DIYer is gonna use it to skip out on paying for a project. The guys here have been at it a while and want to pay it forward because somebody did it for them.

It doesn't care how your week is going. It's not meant to be perfect. Nothing ever is.
Here's the thing. Anybody can say something's broken. But somebody's gotta guarantee the work. Within Spec means you did the work, you know what the number's supposed to be, and you're putting your name on it. That's earned through experience and lessons learned.
There's a lot of guys talking about the trades right now online. Most of them spent six months in the lube bay, jumped to service writing and now make content about a job they barely knew. Techs sniff right through that in about four seconds.
We're still in it. Still turning wrenches, still under the truck, still running into stuff we've never seen before. We're going to give it to you straight - good and bad. We're not here to whine. Every problem we bring up, we'll tell you what we'd actually do about it.
We failed first so you don't have to. Somebody got us here. This is us paying it forward.
